uPerform website publishing or globalize queue does not display correctly after upgrade

Symptoms

  • 'ReportName' will display instead of the publishing or glossary queue
  • No publishing or glossary results will be displayed
  • Error: "Exception in PublishingQueueGenerator: null
    java.lang.NullPointerException" may be displayed in the CollabConsole.txt file

Environment

  • Product: ANCILE uPerform
  • Version: 5.20.x

Cause

The root cause is not 100% certain as it is not always replicable by ANCILE on our server environments. There may be a conflict with time zone setting in user's uPerform account.

Resolution

  1. Log onto the uPerform Server as the affected user
  2. On the right-hand side, click the drop down where it says 'Welcome, (Username)'
  3. Select My Account
  4. Select Edit Properties
  5. Change the Timezone drop down
  6. Click Save
  7. Select Edit Properties
  8. Change the Timezone drop down to the correct timezone
  9. Click save
