Objective

After modifying the template, you will need to republish the associated documents on the uPerform Server.

Environment

  • Product: ANCILE uPerform Server
  • Version: 4.5 and later

Procedure

  1. Login to the uPerform server website as an Administrator.
  2. Select the Project containing documents to republish.
  3. Click on 'uPerform Templates' in the top left under the Actions section.
  4. Select the associated template of your documents.
  5. Click 'Republish' on the left hand side.
  6. Select the 'Publish now' option and click 'List Documents' to see which documents will be republished.
  7. Once you have confirmed the correct documents are listed, select OK to begin the republishing process.

    Good day!

Could you please answer me for one qustion, please?

We got one template assighned to all projects. Now i got task to republish all documents just IN ONE SINGLE project.

I think about one solution and need you to confirm it:

    1) if I deactivate all projects that assign to this template except one that i need to be republished

    2) start republish documents

    3) Again assign all projects to this template (while it is republishing)

And a question, that i got about it:

    1) If I again assign project to template (step 3), will republishing been apply to this one project or all other document in all assigned projects will start to repulishing too?

    Hi Roman,

The steps you described above will not work to only publish documents within one specific project. As a workaround I would recommend you browse to the Document Library within your project and click the Add to Publishing Queue link. You will need to browse to each subfolder within the Document Library and repeat this to add them all to the queue.

    Thanks,

    Chandra

    Brilliant workaround!

I got above 1500 document in the same number of folders. Am i need to spend a week to only republish documents? Can you offer me another workaround, that will do it automaticly?

    Hi Roman,

To be clear, I am not referring to the Binder for each document, but rather the Document Library folders. At each level of the Document Library folder structure, you can click Add to Publish Queue and it will add all of the documents at that level to the Publishing Queue. If you have 1500 folders in your Document Library you will need to go into all 1500 folders and click Add to Publishing Queue.

If you do have 1500 folders in your Document Library for the one project, you will need to go into all 1500 folders and click Add to Publishing Queue.

There is currently no way to republish all documents in an entire project.

    Thanks,

    Chandra
