"Document Not Found" Status in Publishing Queue in ANCILE uPerform


Publishing any file will result in a "Document Not Found" message.

The "Document Not Found" message in the publishing queue can occur for a number of different reasons. All of these causes have the same symptom, but have different resolutions.  The below resolutions are listed from most common to least common.


  1. Blank or incorrect uPerformSystem password causes "Document Not Found" in Publishing Queue
  2. Incorrect host name in the ANCILE.uPerform.ServerConfiguration.dll.config file causes "Document Not Found" in publishing queue
  3. uPerformSystem user missing from Server Administrator role causes "Document Not Found" in publishing queue
  4. Incorrectly configured network adapter(s) causes "Document Not Found" in publishing queue
