Course fails to publish in uPerform


Symptoms

  • eLearning course fails to publish in HTML format in uPerform
  • Error: "The given path's format is not supported." in the Application log of the uPerform client and also displayed when clicking the X icon on the publishing results window in the client.

Environment

  • Product: ANCILE uPerform client and uPerform Express
  • Version: 5.20 and 5.30

Cause

Rather then embedding an image directly, the source code for the page contained a link to the image on the website

Resolution

  1. Delete the current image on the course page
  2. Download a copy of the image from the website to your local machine
  3. Right-click course page and select Insert > Image
  4. Navigate to where the image is on the local machine
  5. Click OK
