uPerform becomes unresponsive

Symptoms

  • Services must be restarted in order to access uPerform
  • Users are unable to check in documents, access the end user website
  • The following error is seen in CollabConsole: [SQLServer JDBC Driver]Object has been closed

Environment

  • Product: uPerform
  • Version: all
  • Server Database: Microsoft SQL Server (R), DB2 (R), Oracle

Cause

There was an interruption between the database and the application server. Work with your Database Administrator to pinpoint the cause on the database side.


Resolution

Ensure the database server is up and running.

Additional Information

The above error is specific to Microsoft SQL (R) however there will be similar errors related to Oracle or DB2 (R)
